Healing from narcissistic abuse
Healing from narcissistic abuse
You never really stop loving someone, you just learn to live without them
Don’t despair, love is all around you.

Brave, raw and moving video (the ending is beautiful..).
I love the expression of pain through dance… I think being able to express your pain in some form is one of the most important things in recovering from depression. Finding a way to express your pain rather than suppress it – whether you write, dance, paint, sing or find a loving soul that will simply listen to you. You need to release it.
I love that the woman dancer isn’t wearing makeup, hasn’t had her hair done and isn’t covered in fake tan!
She isn’t the usual picture perfect idealized (and highly sexualized) woman that seem to be portrayed as ‘normal’ in most mainstream music videos.. haha we all know that is faaaar from reality!!

The Fool Archetype
The Fool archetype although often simple-minded, acts with a good heart and is usually rewarded for it. Modern film characters such as Forrest Gump and Nurse Betty embody this aspect of the archetype, which does not so much impart wisdom as foster living with kindness and simplicity.
Day after day
Alone on a hill
The man with the foolish grin
Is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him
They can see that he’s just a fool
And he never gives an answer
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round
Well on the way
Head in a cloud
The man of a thousand voices
Talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him
Or the sound he appears to make
And he never seems to notice
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round
And nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do
And he never shows his feelings
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round, oh oh oh, round round round round
He never listens to them
He knows that they’re the fools
They don’t like him
The fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round
Oh, round round round round, oh
Okay this clip is so funny.. Paul Rudd’s lip syncing is hilarious (1:05) and Tina Turner is at her finest in 80s dramatic :o)
I do love the song’s strong lyrics
“You better be good to me, that’s how it’s gotta be now..”
SG x
And I really don’t see why it’s so hard to be good to me
And I don’t understand what’s your plan that you can’t be good to me
What I can’t feel I surely cannot see, why can’t you be good to me
And if it’s not real I do not wish to see, why can’t you be good to me.
