Music ~ ‘Life Is Worth Living’

Brave, raw and moving video (the ending is beautiful..).

I love the expression of pain through dance…  I think being able to express your pain in some form is one of the most important things in recovering from depression. Finding a way to express your pain rather than suppress it – whether you write, dance, paint, sing or find a loving soul that will simply listen to you. You need to release it.

I love that the woman dancer isn’t wearing makeup, hasn’t had her hair done and isn’t covered in fake tan!

She isn’t the usual picture perfect idealized (and highly sexualized) woman that seem to be portrayed as ‘normal’ in most mainstream music videos..  haha we all know that is faaaar from reality!!

He considers breaking out of his lackluster routine. Summoning up some courage, Hector gives his starved curiosity free rein and embarks on an international quest to find the right formula to bring him joy and vitality.

“I Won’t Give You The Gift Of Hating You”

Spiritual Maturity

Antoine Leiris in this powerful tribute to his his wife who died in the Paris Attacks.

Wow, this man is an amazing strong soul. He knows that by hating his wife’s murderers it only gives them power and that will only serve to poison him and his young son’s life. Although he’s grieving he knows he has to protect his soul from hatred in order to live from love and peace.

I love that many of the French people are refusing to live in fear or let fear win.

It’s the same in all our lives, hating those that hurt us is poison that robs us of peace and love.

There are ignorant and spiritually immature people in his world and the mature ones are the inspirations to others.

Even in enormous pain, they don’t hate, they pity weaker souls, and they are capable of forgiveness because they know it’s for their own benefit.
