I Don’t Need Your Acceptance

It feels so good not to need the acceptance of my family members. It used to hurt if they rejected me, it used to engulf me with pain. But it doesn’t hurt anymore. I have called out their bullying behaviour and now they can choose to be part of my past or part of my future – it’s their call.
